Geraldine D. Leder, founder of LederMark Communications, has been marketing ideas, products and services to the investing public for 15 years. Ms. Leder formed LederMark Communications to put together her experience in marketing and communications with a depth of experience with the financial services industry in general and investment firms in particular. LederMark works with companies and their managements to position companies and products for external audiences, introduce new financial products to consumers, increase their visibility and track results.

Formerly, she was a marketing executive and principal in the private client division of Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown, then an investment banking firm for emerging growth companies. Previously, she had founded Legg Mason's marketing department. She introduced new investment products including proprietary mutual funds and separate account management; led advertising and media campaigns, including high profile media launches; oversaw the company's public relations campaigns; and directed marketing programs year in and out.

Ms. Leder is a graduate of the University of Richmond and holds a Master in business from Loyola College. She completed the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School, a three-year executive program for industry leaders. She holds Series 7and 63 securities licenses.

Ms. Leder serves on the Board of Associates for the University of Richmond. She is a member of Women in Housing and Finance in Washington, and the Financial Women's Association in New York. She has taught college courses in Marketing and Leadership. She publishes a marketing column for financial advisors in the publication, On Wall Street. Ms. Leder writes articles and speaks at industry conferences on a variety of marketing and financial topics including: Growth Opportunities in the High Net Worth Market; Marketing Closed-End Funds; Stock Plan Education; and Hedge Fund Marketing. She also publishes a client newsletter entitled Financial Marketing Perspectives.
